• Check your brakes if you are close to the recommended service interval, hear grinding when applying the brakes, your vehicle is taking longer to stop or if you have to apply more pressure to your pedal to engage the brakes. Check the brake discs for signs of cracks, excessive corrosion or warping.
• If the brake pads are contaminated with oils or grease (petroleum products), brake pads have to be discarded and replaced. Discs need to be cleaned with brake cleaner or alcohol based cleaner only.
