Adding another model to their best-selling sport side-by-side line, Polaris released the 2024 RZR XP.
“The all-new RZR XP is the next revolution in multi-terrain performance,” Polaris said. “With a rugged design, more comfort and legendary performance, the RZR XP is built to take on the off-road.”
Coming in sport, premium and ultimate packages, the RZR XP will have a ProStar 999cc Gen 2 engine that produces 114 horsepower (compared to 107 horsepower from last year’s model). Outside of the motor, Polaris has made a few key upgrades to increase the durability and reliability of the XP.
The new machine will come with a redesigned driveline to strengthen the bearings, prop shafts and half shafts. Further increasing the reliability of the transmission, the RZR XP features more mounting and ducting around the primary and secondary clutch, allowing for better cooling and longer belt life.
Coming with Walker Evans needle shocks, Polaris gave the new machine 20.5” of usable travel. The RZR XP also features a stronger chassis, making the machine more agile and decreasing vehicle noise.
For customers looking to accessorize, the premium trim will come with 30” tires, a roof, a Rockford Fosgate Stage 1 audio system, and a PMX head unit. A trim roughly $3,000 more than the premium, the ultimate comes with Ride Command, a Rockford Fosgate Stage 3 audio system, a rear camera and LED accent lights on the front and rear.
Outside of trims, customers will also be able to choose between trail, mud, backcountry and all-season accessory collections.
“After a ground-up overhaul, the new sport side-by-side is more comfortable and capable,” Gear Patrol’s Tyler Duffy said.
