Advanced, Comfort-Focused Suspension: The advanced heavy-duty suspension is designed to provide maximum articulation in low speed situations, a balanced feel when trail riding and maximum bottoming resistance at higher speeds. The wide-arc A-arms paired with the FOX® 2.0 QS3 shocks deliver 14.2-inches of travel up front and an amazing 16.9-inches of travel in the rear. The FOX® 2.0 QS3 shocks can be easily switched—without tools—between three custom positions to enhance comfort during relaxed driving, increase damping for normal trail riding and maximize damping during sport driving.
3 D-Modes, 1 Machine: The Yamaha Chip Controlled Throttle (YCC-T) optimizes power delivery for a variety of situations through the Wolverine RMAX2 1000 XT-R's revolutionary three-position selectable D-Mode settings. Power delivery in Sport Mode is ideal for wide open trails, sand and spirited driving; Trail Mode is perfect for fun, relaxed trail rides with smooth acceleration and linear throttle response; and for adventure seekers, Crawl Mode can take on slow technical situations like rock crawling with ease. In combination with Yamaha's Ultramatic® and On-Command® systems, the Wolverine RMAX2 1000 XT-R delivers the perfect amount of engine braking by operating the throttle in accordance to the user's selected D-Mode setting.
XT-R Package: The Wolverine RMAX2 1000 XT-R leads the way through extreme terrain with 14-inch aluminum beadlock wheels wrapped in Maxxis® Carnivore tires, heavy-duty WARN® winch, advanced suspension, and a stylish paint and graphics package.
Beadlock Wheels: The Wolverine RMAX2 1000 XT-R comes with factory-installed 14-inch aluminum beadlock wheels for improved tire retention and increased driver confidence while navigating rough off-road conditions.
