The most dirt-capable V-STROM continues with true all-terrain performance. Powered by Suzuki’s new-generation 776cc parallel twin with a 270° crank and Cross Balancer, the 800DE blends smooth, torque-rich power with adventure-ready durability for pavement or dirt.
Engine
The 776cc DOHC parallel twin delivers controllable, torque-rich power from low RPM and revs freely to peak output. A 270° crank provides V-twin-like character and a distinctive exhaust note, while spaced power pulses enhance traction at very low speeds for easier control on forest roads and trails.
Transmission
Six-speed gearbox with ratios tuned for lively acceleration. Standard Bi-directional Quick Shift enables clutchless upshifts and downshifts, with precise linkage for fast, accurate gear selection.
Chassis
Backbone-style steel frame around the compact twin provides the strength for straight-line stability and the agility needed for rugged trails or highway touring.
Wheels & Tires
