Engine and Exhaust
Suzuki’s 776cc parallel-twin DOHC engine delivers strong, smooth, torque-rich power from low rpm and a lively pull up to peak output. The 270-degree crank gives a character-rich feel reminiscent of a V-twin, while Suzuki Cross Balancer technology helps keep the engine compact, lightweight, and impressively smooth. A distinctive short muffler with a brushed heat shield adds classic style and a sharp, modern sound with centralized mass for balanced handling.
Transmission and Quick Shift
A refined six-speed transmission uses ratios designed for exciting acceleration in everyday riding. Standard Bi-directional Quick Shift allows clutchless upshifts and downshifts, with a shift-rod sensor feeding movement data to the ECM for fast, precise response and confident gear selection across changing conditions.
Chassis and Comfort
The GSX-8T introduces handlebar-end mirrors that deliver a classic look while improving rearward visibility and reducing interference with the rider’s body.
