Looking over the 2024 Ski-Doo Lineup

Showcasing their plans for next year, Ski-doo unveiled their 2024 lineup on Feb. 20 at 6:30pm MST.

With major and minor changes coming to some sleds, it's time to look at some of the top model announcements for 2024.

MXZ X-RS with Competition Package

Adding onto their MXZ X-RS, Ski-Doo claims the competition package edition is their "most race-ready snowmobile ever offered." With Rotax 600R E-TEC and 850 E-TEC Turbo R options, the competition package gives riders RAS X front suspension, an rMotion X competition rear suspension system and a 2-Ply Ripsaw II track.

Riders who buy the 600R E-TEC option will get a 7.2" digital display. The 600R E-TEC model generates 125 horsepowers while the 850 E-TEC generates 180.

Freeride

A sled Ski-doo claims is designed for deep-snow situations, the Freeride has Rotax 850 E-TEC and 850 E-TEC Turbo R options. Both offering "breathtaking acceleration and seamless power," Ski-doo says their 850 E-TEC Turbo R is the strongest turbocharged 2-stroke engine ever built.

Both models come with interactive 10.25" color touchscreen displays. The Freeride's suspension comes with KYB Pro shocks in the front and a tMotion XT setup in the rear. Using Ski-Doo's REV Gen5 Platform, the Freeride's weight has been reduced, improving technical performance.

Renegade

Also using the REV Gen5 Platform, Ski-Doo claims the 2024 version of the 4-Stroke sled offers "perfectly balanced handling," allowing for better cornering. Coming with a 10.25" touchscreen display, the Renegade features 4-Piston Brembo brake calipers.

The Renegade's Pilot X and TX Skis are paired with RAS X suspension in the front and an rMotion X suspension setup in the rear.

Grand Touring

Ski-doo announced two versions of the Grand Touring for 2024. A sled Ski-doo claims has 5-Star Comfort, one Grand Touring will feature a Rotax 900 engine while the other will be powered electrically. Click here to find out more about the Grand Touring Electric and Lynx Adventure Electric.

The gas-powered Grand Touring will come with Rotax 900 ACE, 900 ACE Turbo and 900 ACE Turbo R options, giving riders the ability to choose between 95-180 horsepowers.

Riders who buy the luxury package will receive a platinum silver colorway, a 7.8" LCD display with BRP Connect and a studded Silent Track.

Backcountry

A sled with Rotax 850 E-TEC, 600R E-TEC and 600 EFI options, the Backcountry will also be on the REV Gen5 Platform, improving handling and cornering.

Made possible through E-TEC engines, the Backcountry is equipped with a SHOT button. Before pulling the rope, riders can push the SHOT button to charge an ultra-capacitor. Once the ultra-capacitor is charged, the SHOT button is able to start the engine like an electric starter.
